Don’t waste your time or money, should serve coffee in a bigger mug, cause better chance winning lottery then getting more coffee, meals came with home fries, got white uncooked baked potatoes! Oh and they were full of black rotting spots! Looked around at a few tables every one had the same, no one was eating them! Last time going here!
Arrived at the store, was greeted and advised the server I was picking up 2 order for delivery. The waitress acknowledged and for 15mins did everything except work on my orders. She finally came around to asking me “what is it you need?” I told her I’m waiting for my orders. She rudely replied, “well I need to see it”. In my head, I wondered, why didn’t you ask to see it initially when I told you I had delivery orders? I showed her my orders and it turned out that one of my orders were already prepared, just needed to bag . The second order did not even touch the grill yet.. so I had to wait an additional 10mins. So unorganized and poorly staffed. Your staff equally prioritize delivery orders with the patrons that are coming in as well. I’m sure that the customer will not be too pleased with their food being all soggy and cold due to sitting on the counter for at least 20mins. Could be longer because it was sitting there before I even showed up! Terrible service!
*All day Breakfast * closes at 2 pm The Eggs Benedict was excellent; The Hollandaise sauce was buttery and creamy; absolutely fantastic with a generous portion of peameal and three perfectly cooked soft poached eggs on a toasted english muffin. The home fries on the side were golden, crispy, and tender one day; mostly white on another occasion, but were still good, and today they were burned while some were white. The orange juice was cold and had a great flavor; I really enjoyed their ice coffee. The Monte Cisco was delicious with a generous portion of ham smothered in white cheese between two French toast; syrup on the side. *GLUTEN FREE OPTION AVAILABLE FOR TOAST* ***Take-out and delivery available; call in to location for this option to order.*** The service staff was a very nice lady who was well kept & attentive to the customers. Their service was very quick, from being seated, ordering & receiving my breakfast; I was in and out in less than 45 minutes, and it was reasonably busy. The establishment is clean and bright, with a soothing decor. *Washrooms on site *Handicap washroom and plenty of space inside this first-floor restaurant.*No auro door front entrance *The entrance is next to the Bank of Montreal. Parking is in front of this location and free. *expect to spend approximately $25 per person & worth it.
I had the worst experience ever on November 5th at around noon. First, we had to wait for more than 20 minutes until they finally came and seated us, the waiters were giving us some really rude looks while we were waiting and it didn’t feel like they were welcoming at all, and btw it wasn’t even that busy, I’ve seen the place be a lot busier before. Many of the tables were empty so it didn’t make sense why we had to wait for such a long time to be seated. After we were seated and ordered our foor we LITERALLY WAITED FOR 45 MINUTES until we got our order. We saw people coming after us getting their orders and others ordering and getting served while we had to wait for nearly an hour until we got our order, and all we ordered was LITERALLY a yogurt bowl and a veggie omelette, why would it take so long? Oh I did not finish yet, aftera few hours I got a food poisoning and it was really bad, God knows what they’ve put in our food. Would not recommend going there, save yourself the pain. It was a very unpleasant experience.
Waited 20 minutes to get seated with tables available! At the end, didnt get seated, we just left. I love sunset grill, been going to sunset for the past 6 years at different locations and this is one location that has completely lost my business, which is sad that this one is the closest to my home!!! Leaving 1 star cause i dont have a choice, but would of been zero if it was up to me.
It’s ok. Overall the food is just ok. Eggs were done, bacon was good, but potatoes were undercooked and weak. Pancakes were a bit undercooked in the middle.
Recently took friends to breakfast at Sunset Grill, after the time change. Great food, and even greater coffee, almost a never ending cup. It's so nice to see consistancy in flavor and service no matter which grill you go to. KUDOS to the two waitresses who really hustled to keep ALL customers happy, even though they were down two waitresses.
