Exceptional clothes. Great prices. The volunteers were so welcoming. I was so impressed by my experience in the store that I decided to start volunteering for May Court. I am so impressed with this store and this organization and with all that they do for the Barrie community.
Such a lovely store, pleasant atmosphere and very helpful staff. It was a joy to shop there and of course I bought a beautiful white dress, sweater and yellow slip on shoes. All for $40! I will definitely be going back.
Have visited on multiple occasions to purchase clothes and I usually find great stuff. I’ll continue to shop here because it’s an ethical choice and they donate to so many local charities. This post however, is about my first experience selling a few pieces. The lady that set up my account and took my things was lovely and helpful. However, upon going to retrieve my stuff that hadn’t sold the ladies seemed disheveled and confused. One lady in particular working the cash really didn’t seem even interested in helping. She had a look on her face that I read as “Oh well”. My expiry date to pick up my items was Sunday October 13. Because of thanksgiving apparently they were closed all weekend. So when I showed up to the shop on Saturday there wasn’t anyone there. No where on their website, google nor their shop was there any communication about this. For this they did apologize. Ultimately they lost some of my stuff. I am very angry about the selling process and they really need to step up their game and provide kinder service to sellers. Will never be selling again.
