First time going to this Cafe in Downtown Barrie Ontario , and it was a very pleasant experience...they have a good selection of brand coffee's which you can have to-go or as I chose to stay and was given a beautiful cup to have mine in , which I love ... I miss the times when you always got your coffee ☕ served in a real cup when dining in. The coffee was great ... a perfect temperature and it's set-up so you can add your own milk or cream and sugar. The seating is good ... tables clean. The place is nicely decorated and the music is good and not so loud ? as you can have a conversation with your coffee guest. It's a really nice place and I will definitely be back again for sure and will trying some of the delectable goodies I seen on display. I highly recommend if you haven't already been to this Little Cafe... then you should get yourself in there for a great cup of coffee ☕ ‼️♥️??
If we lived in Barrie, this would be our go to caffeine fix every day. Super chill, laid-back and best of all, great morning beverages. I just wished I had more time for a cut and a shave from next door.
I stopped in here today quickly to buy water as one of my children became violently ill ( vomiting int he garden) sorry- right outside their store. The guy behind the counter jumped right up and got us a cup of water and napkins and was really helpful. Then I tried the banana bread while my daughter recovered and omg- the best banana bread I've ever had.
My friend and I stopped by to try a local coffee shop while in town. We opted for the wired owl had great reviews and from the pictures it seemed like a good vibe. We were not disappointed! We stopped in just after 12 I believe and it wasn’t busy, we were greeted and served right away. I got the iced salted caramel mocha with a ginger molasses cookie. My friend got the vanilla maple frap and banana bread. The cookie was soft and delicious, banana bread moist and thick. All the adjectives you want in a baked good. Drinks were also delicious! The vanilla maple frap was a nice blend of both flavours and neither were too over powering. The salted caramel mocha was a nice balance of caramel and mocha. Overall vibe was an homage to eclectic vintage with a touch of industrial without feeling old and stuffy. They had a nice quiet section for reading and what looked like board games to play. Almost every table had tictactoe as well. Will for sure recommend to any one in the area or going through Barrie!
Yummy coffee, loved my latte! And I am now a huge fan of zucchini walnut muffins thanks to The Wired Owl. It is a great and friendly atmosphere, we will definitely see you again :)
i ordered the blue matcha latte and it looked really pretty but didn’t taste like matcha. it just tasted like hot milk. my friend ordered the peanut butter latte and it taste like a cappuccino. the service was ok.
Tried a queijadas de nata (custard tart) and !!! - it tasted just like the ones I used to get from Brazil Bakery when I lived in Toronto. Take my money now and forever. Can't wait until Covid restrictions lighten up and I can drink my Americano inside because the cafe is incredibly cozy and inviting
