This Hockey Store is hands-down the best in Barrie . Every time I’ve been in, the staff have gone above & beyond to help. They’re not only super friendly, but also incredibly knowledgeable—whether it’s finding the right gear, giving honest advice, or taking the time to make sure everything fits just right. You can tell they truly care about their customers. It’s rare to find that level of service these days, & that’s why I’ve been coming here for years. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great hockey shopping experience
We travelled to this store to have our son fitted for new skates. He has flat feet, but small feet so sizing can be tricky. We were torn on sizing him up 1/2 a size or not for comfort, but lack of ankle support in doing so was concerning. Thankfully the sales associate that was helping us knew what he was talking about!! He suggested we do the smaller size skates, but in a wider option to accommodate our son. This turned out to be the best choice for comfort and support! Would recommend and would shop here again. This location is a must stop for all of our down South sports travelling needs!
The level of incompetence to literally spell a name wrong when embroidering a brand new coat is actually quite pathetic. For me being a person who has to fill out certificates for people on a regular basis and not once misspelling a name wrong in 15 years because i am careful and professional, i cant imagine the process that would lead to misspelling a name when embroidering or engraving something when it was clearly and properly spelt for you to copy. To me it is careless and completely embarassing and this kind of product should be fully refunded when the jacket is burnt by an iron and old lettering can be seen through the botched repair job. Extremely disappointing, very slow and lousy work. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else or proceed with caution
Bought an Evoshield elbow guard. Had the main shield but was missing the strap. Was able to go in the next day and pick up a new strap. Employees were super professional and I am very happy to have had such a great experience
I went in to see if my skates could be repaired. I was quoted a price that was marginally less than a brand new pair of skates. The guy said he'd measure my feet to ensure I got the correct size and he'd sell me a pair of new skates if it was right for me. I actually found out I'd been wearing the wrong size. Their inventory was a little out of my price range so I bought proper sized skates somewhere else. He knew that would happen, but invested a few minutes to assist me anyway. I appreciated that and told him I'd be back for any future hockey needs. Knowledge and customer service are key components to operating a successful business. I'll go back for sure. 100% recommend.

Amazing customer service and knowledge. Brandon is a pro that fit both my son and husband for perfect skates. He knew how to find the best fit for them and was so helpful, kind and patient with all our questions. Will be sending everyone we know (from Huntsville) there. Worth the drive, we’ll be back!
