I bought a chain and pendant here the other day. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they are fair and reasonable with their prices. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I will definitely be back in the near future.
I've been here a number of times. They have a lot of items to purchase. The items are generally in great shape or new. The people I've spoken to are knowledgeable and quite helpful. No pressure sales and everything is priced and visible. The business hours are good, so I can pick up what I want sooner than later. Thank you!
Every time I've gone into pawn smart all of the gentlemen including the owner has been extremely helpful and bringing my business there means a lot to me versus all of the other pawn stores in the region. Found one of the most nostalgic Xbox games I could ever imagine and all because of these guys they are so helpful everybody needs to just pop in there and say hello and support those guys
Had a great experience at the shop today. Josh was super chill and really looked out for me. I picked up 4 games, then added 2 more, and he threw in Battlefield for free totally unexpected and really appreciated. You don’t see that kind of service every day. Good prices, solid game selection, and Josh made the whole thing easy and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back.
No such thing as fair when it comes to Pawn Shops. That's just the reality of how it works. With that being said, out of the 3 pawn Shops in Barrie, this one should be your go to. On a side note, if you walk in acting like an asshole, expect to be treated like an asshole. Solid bunch of guys. Only on Tuesdays! Lol
They definitely prey on the backs of others. Here brought in quite a few items. Only ended up leaving with $20. And come back the next day.They have it up for 40 and all the other items lol
Wasted two hours of my day, seen a nice fishing rod i wanted to buy. Told them I was taking my ring to cash for gold and would come back for the Rod. Biked across town to sell my gold ring for the rod, only to come back and they tell me they mislabeled the rod and its double the price. CROOKED AND SHADY BEHAVIOR. Cannot get my ring back and didnt get the rod. Lost my buisness forever. Thanks for wasting my time UPDATE** to be clear while in store they accused me of switching tags i had them run the cameras back infront of me and they in fact DO NOT have me on camera switching tags, Or I would have bin CHARGED with fraud/theft... DUHHHH. 9 months later they respond to my review after 5 k + views with legitimately legal slander and wrongful defamation of character to make themselves look better. PAWNSMART SHOW YOUR FOOTAGE TO POLICE IF YOUR RESPONSE IS TRUE. YOU HAVE NO FOOTAGE. You have my full name and I.d. on file. I'd think about removing your response or rewording it before I get in the right mind to sue your scrub buisness for defamation of character. STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUISNESS.
