Only providing 2 stars because the option for the Passport photos is great. However, I placed an order for prints and have been concerned about the lack of update. I attempted to reach out online and was advised they’d connect me with an agent, no such agent joined the chat. I then called the Barrie store directly, nobody picked up right HR away, I continued to hold, still nothing. Finally hung up and will probably cancel the entire order. They clearly don’t care about their customers
Star rating: 1/5 I had one of my worst retail experiences here. The store was empty, yet two associates were chatting with each other. As a first-time visitor, I asked the saleswoman (wearing a black mask) to help me print photos. She only pointed toward the kiosk, refused to walk over with me, and then turned away. The kiosk did not open/read my USB flash drive, and she never checked back or offered further help. I left frustrated and will not return. Fortunately, there are competitors who provide much better customer service
Worst place to get disposable cameras developed. I came in on June 2nd 2025 and am only now receiving my pictures back on Sept 12th 2025. They said they called me back in July and “left a message” and yet I have no such “message” or “call” from them on my phone. They didn’t even give me back my negatives!!!!! I HAVE NEVER EVER BEEN TO A PLACE THAT DOES THAT! Go to Toronto and make the worthwhile trip to ANNEX PHOTO. They get it done in a week AND give back your negatives. That is where I should’ve gone but since I’m closer to Barrie now and going back to Annex Photo in Toronto can be a long trip, I thought I should go to Henry’s. Well, NEVER AGAIN!!! Annex Photos has always been good to me and they get their job done RIGHT and FASTER! AND they answer their phone. Saw three lazy employees today at the store and yet no one can answer the phone? The store is always empty so there’s no excuse.
As soon as you walk in ask for Dawn, she’s an excellent person and very knowledgeable about everything in store. Been to a lot of places never found what I was looking for. She was excellent at helping to find the right tools that I needed. Thank you Dawn!!! Keep up the good work!!! I’m Definitely going back to this store if I ever need anything.
Pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Pretty good selection of cameras and lenses. I was looking for film to test a Canon AE-1 Program, and they had both Kodak color and Ilford B&W. As per normal for Hernry's, bit pricy.
My go-to place for everything related to photography. I have gone there so many times and there was not even a single bad experience. I even bought my new Z6II from there which was not available at the time I went to buy. They noted my contact and called me back as soon they got the stock. Same with the extra battery as well. It's hard to think about going to any other camera store now ?
Been shopping here for years and this one store in barrie is better than all the rest. 7 years later, to my rescue again. Thx Scott, master of yhe universe
