I first contacted this place on January 23rd after my disability worker told me to. She stated I have to see a therapist first b4 I can get a scooter. I was advised by skill builders I have to pay $193. Explained to them i am sure disability pays or my worker would have told me otherwise. Worker stated that yes they do pay. It took a while to reach worker and I don't understand why someone at this place wouldn't know that. Disability approved this and skill builders called last week to tell me someone will call in 1-2 days. Told them I just found out my CANCER has spread and surgery was cancelled. The reply I received was..do you.not want to go ahead with this. Unbelievable. A week passed..no call..called back. Told them have to start chemotherapy now so situation has changed. Told them after i get chemotherapy scheduled I will.book something..later that day someone called trying to schedule appointment AFTER I told them I will LET them know. I have never seen such terrible customer service..unknowledgeable staff and people who just don't listen. Two months have gone by and probably done with this place unless there manager Wendy returns my call and they apologize and they get someone here ASAP as I have waited long enough and need this scooter ASAP. I advised skill builders in JANUARY that scooter was going to be used for OUTDOOR use. Finally someone showed up here LATE and months later to only have me sign papers so she can get paid for DOING NOTHING. After I signed papers was told probably not going to get scooter because of the fact using it for OUTDOORS. They billed disability close to $200 for coming here for 20 minutes. SHAME on you for ripping off disability and giving me THREE MONTHS of HELL.

awesome facility! all of the staff are very welcoming and professional. it was very easy to trust that the staff knew what they were doing and considerate in all aspects. They were also able and willing to accommodate my needs for appointments around my hectic work schedule.
