We recently booked a field time at the Barrie Dome through the online system, just like we always do. We always pay after arriving, and this has never been a problem in the past. We even called ahead to confirm our booking, and they confirmed it was in their system. However, when we arrived, the situation was completely different. Our booking was suddenly “not found,” and instead of helping us figure it out, (the two boys)staff were extremely rude. The way they spoke to us felt disrespectful and honestly gave off a sense of discrimination. Another player who was already using the field tried to speak up for us since he recognized us as regulars. Shockingly, he got yelled at and was told to “stay out of it” as if he was doing something wrong. He even mentioned that he works on that field so better be respectful and that we come regularly, yet he was still dismissed. We had come from far away, only to return home with disappointment and frustration. This experience was hurtful, unprofessional, and very discouraging. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and improves how customers especially regular ones are treated.
Had a very disappointing experience here with one very specific associate working 2025/nov/23 night shift with a white hat on i had to be very specific with him because of him being a racist and disrespectful replies and tries to cut us off having no guilt of their poor management and bad keeping records rather to solve the issue and explaining the situation just tries to run away and and either booking and timings are not mentioning every rules on the website and mentioning at the call while the booking confirmation was made and having a rude attitude with customers being on the wrong side with their own error and as it was their last end of the shift rather than solving the issue and trying to make things work out trying to cut us off just to end things early and head home from their shift. *RECOMMENDATIONS* 1. Get rid of the rude associate. 2. More systematic and very specific how bookings are made and confirmed 3. Improving record keeping of bookings and prioritizing the booking based on the timing of booking HOPE FOR CHANGES But i would rather not go back there ever again especially being the associate with the white hat on that shift. Really disappointed with how we were treated today at Barrie Dome. We come here every week and support the place, but the way the situation was handled was completely unfair. Instead of helping regular players, we were basically brushed off and sent home. It felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and honestly not what we expect from a place we’ve been loyal to. This isn’t how sportspeople should be treated. We hope the management seriously rethinks how they handle these things.
We play every Saturday and Sunday at the Barrie Dome training field. Today, we had a booking from 10:00 to 11:00 PM. We booked online, but someone else booked the same slot, so we weren’t able to use the training field. This has happened once before, but at that time we were kindly allowed to play for 30 minutes on the big field and 30 minutes on the small field. Unfortunately, today was very different. Even though the big field was empty and the facility closes at 11:30 PM, we were told we still had to pay for a full hour just to use it for 30 minutes. What made it worse is that 14 of us had to return home without playing on November 23, 2025. We wait the whole week for these sessions, and as regulars at the Barrie Dome, it was really disheartening to be treated this way.
I can’t give any less than 1 start review. We called an hour earlier just to confirm our booking is still in place. The one who received the call told us our booking is confirmed and we had the small field booked from 10pm to 11pm on Sunday night. All of our team travelled from different cities to play the reserved match. In the end we all showed up on time and turns out the space is reserved by other team. They had multiple bookings on the same time. The customer service person at front desk at Sunday November 23 was behaving very rudely towards us both. We felt racism and disrespected. Until we are clarified about what happened and why we couldn’t use our reservation. I am never recommending this place to anyone I know.
I had a very disappointing experience at the Barrie Sports Dome. The management feels disorganized, and the payment system is confusing and poorly handled. The staff were not helpful and came across as rude during my interactions. I also felt that some of their behaviour toward me was inappropriate and discriminatory, which made the experience even worse. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place based on what I went through.Even though some one is speaking on our behalf they humiliated himself which even pissed me off . Extremely not recommended
Seriously worst employees….couldn’t book a field rental online! I’ve have called multiple times, left multiple voicemails, multiple emails, message on social media, spoke to employees on site both managers Jess & Jamie without any help on booking a field. How could an establishment be so clueless. Employees reply with “sorry I just work here and don’t know how to book a field rental.” Mangers replied with “sorry just send an email” but no one will reply. Apparently only the owner can book a field rental but no one knows when he will be in. Perfect way to ruin a business by hiring useless employees and managers.
