Decent mall with most major stores. With Sears gone they do need to find another anchor or up that section up to add more stores. There are a few vacant shops that need to be filled. Maybe a Apple store?? Good parking for the most part and food court has decent selection though I do miss KFC.
Nice mall. Relaxing atmosphere. The mall, overall, is clean but the washeooms need to be tended more often (garbage was full, floor was messy). The parking lot could use a new top-coat and better placed, painted parking spots. Need more security to enforce parking ethics (noted a lot of people parking at the entrances, waiting for people - causing back-logged cars/traffic. Some in "fire routes").
I love this mall, they have every store possible, for those who enjoy getting their nails done there are plenty of salons to choose from. If you are looking for a new phone, you will find plenty of deals with the countless phone dealers throughout the mall, so while he is checking out the deals she can be getting her make-up done or just buying your favourite brand name cosmetics. I can't even begin to say how many amazing clothing stores there are, and if you're hungry they have a food court with the usual eats, if you're looking for a popular restaurant they have Moxie's, some might say it's a little pricey but if you're hungry they have a good menu, at least when I was there, but that was awhile ago.
Went to Freedom to grab a Pixel 2 XL 2 cause I had issues with my phone. Called Freedom Mobile before going. When I got there I asked if they had any Pixel 2 XLs and they asked where I was from. (From London) once I told them from London they happily handed me over the Pixel 2 they reserved for me. Freedom was in Georgian Mall so really this review is for Freedom Mobile. This is the only indoor mall to consider when visiting Barrie. Similar to Upper Canada mall in Newmarket - great selection over two floors. Also a good place to go for a walk with the kids or to get out of the weather. You can rent their strollers and such instead of bringing your own which is handy.
