Rest in Power, Mr. Kozlov. In it's heyday was a location of some prestige- 3 levels, national and international chain retailers, professional offices, destination-worthy food court, amusement arcade and the nicest Government Liquor outlet in town. The indoor waterfountain was a marvel. The outdoor water fountain would often get filled with ABC laundry detergent causing suds to spill over into the road. Sometimes the police had to close off the busiest intersection in town from the soap everwhere.

Mall was very dirty, bathrooms were small, hot and didnt have any paper towel! The stores that are left in this mall are very overpriced. The mall seems to have lost a lot of key tenants who drive business and often times feels like a ghost town. The food court is unimpressive to say the least and most of the stores in the mall and food court were closed when we went walking through. I would recommend you save your time and proceed down the road to the Georgian Mall across the street for a better shopping experience.

I liked this mall because it feels like it's half empty. The indoor tropical trees are beautiful and I enjoy the atmosphere. Could use more stores and a livelier atmosphere bit not every mall can be the Georgian mall amiright?

Only giving this this rating due to the presence of urban planet, factory direct & dollar tree. Other than that, this is sooooo depressing +. I remember coming as a maybe 9 yr old(1991)and the mall wasn't dead, but notably empty. Last came in 2013 & 2015(was born in Barrie, have family there). Now to go and walk around and look in bewilderment that they took the whole escalator and food court, lower level, washrooms, etc). :O That's insane. "Yeah, people in this world, this city and mall have vowed to never eat again. Imagine working there...you'd have to marathon run to Metro, grab a frozen dinner, then to the hock shop to have a microwave heat it for you, LOL. On that, that store went from awesome to pathetic in its new location. I still think Mr Kozlov must've had a brain cell missing. "Let's put another mall on the same street as two others, and all within walking distance of one another." Kudos to the architecture. What was this mall REALLY like in 1986 when it opened? Interested.

There are a couple great places in this Center, Urban Planet is an awesome clothing store for both male and female, very cool and current styles, they also sell shoes as well, I have bought military style boots there. There is a Party time store, as well as M&Ms frozen foods there, many different choices. There is even a beauty college upstairs, you can go there and get great cuts, to colors, I think they also do perms but not totally sure on that, their prices are great for whatever it is u want done and there is always a fully experienced instructor on hand. If you are short on funds and cannot afford the prices at regular salons then check this place out for sure, I doubt u will be let down.
