AMAZING EXPERIENCE! It’s always an absolute hassle trying to figure out ski boots with my wide feet. Easton (I think that was his name) and Jay actually took 2 hours helping me with a boot fitting. We went through different brands, different styles, until they finally found me the right boot that fit PERFECTLY right out of the box. They even did a heat mold of the insoles for free??? (Count me in!) constantly reassuring me that its folks like us that keep them in business, and to be honest. I will never take my hard earned dollars anywhere else ever again. This is simply the best pro shop for all your snowboarding and skiing needs. Thanks again Folks, I’ll be back! And thanks for the sweater!

Just visited G&B for new boots for my wife and myself. Great service from Jacob who is very knowledgeable about the various products and took the time to find us both boots that fit our foot shape and then customized them to fit perfectly. Already looking forward to the start of the season to try them out. Great selection of ski gear and for ski tuning as well. Worth the drive!
I was in the market for skis, bindings, and boots. Used to ski a lot, and I was now getting back into it, although on a budget. Had been to all the usual box stores, but nobody really seemed to have any knowledge about the equipment. Then we went to Gates & Boards. Jason was probably the most knowledgeable person I've ever met when it comes to ski equipment. He explained because I was 6' 3" and 250 lbs, the entry-level stuff I was looking at was likely to fail (I found ski sites that supported everything he was telling me, not just up-selling). Found the right gear, and he gave me an amazing deal. I would recommend anyone skiing at any level to get their gear at Gates & Boards. I'll never go anywhere else. Don't waste your time looking around. In Simcoe, these are the guys you want to deal with. G
Amazingly helpful and knowledgeable local shop. From custom orders to emergency binding swap outs to be back on the hill in under and hour, they have you covered. Amazing and current selection of gear and service counter is speedy and the attention to detail is amazing.
Super excited to get my bindings mounted today on some line chronics. But unfortunately they were mounted about 1.5-2.5mm to the left of center on both skiis. Probably operator error or worn-out jig. Expected better from this shop. Probably won't feel it much on the hills and park but driving me crazy now that I've noticed it. However on race skiis this would be unacceptable. Surprised to see it happen to me here. I've read of sports Chek/MEC doing the same. Rest of experience was good. Nice shop inside and friendly knowledgeable staff.
