Abby was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We asked where the girls’ snow pants were, and she not only took us right to them but also explained the different options and the benefits of each. She made the whole visit seamless, which we really appreciated since we had both our son and daughter with us. We’ll definitely be returning to this location. Thank you, Abby!
I was told by an associate I would get an additional 10% for the floor model. I did not ask or question I said great thanks. Went to the cash manager said only for damaged good and final sale I did not purchase anything. I agree with the last post not enough associates working.
I stopped into this location today and was very disappointed. There were very few staff around, and the ones who were there seemed disorganized. When I asked questions, the answers I got were things like “don’t know” or “maybe,” which wasn’t helpful at all. I ended up leaving and going to the Bayfield Street store instead, and the difference was night and day. At Bayfield, every staff member I walked past asked if I needed help, and the service overall was much more professional. At the South End store, not one person approached me — I had to track things down myself. I’ll be sticking with the Bayfield location moving forward.
Big shouts to Kyra who is always a pleasant person to deal with whenever I’m at the store. I wish the company will take her as an example for all Customer Associates. I wish you good luck Kyra in all your future endeavors.
The service counter staff is very good, helpful ! My new ski was burned by hillcrest store in richmond hill and they didn’t tell me when I picked it up! When I back to barrie I found it, I go to the park place store, the staff try to help me to remove the burning mark, but can’t, the manager help me exchange a new one that I don’t need to go to richmond hill store, its far from barrie! I really thank him!
Went in and purchased a mouth guard. Went home and it doesn’t work. Won’t mold to fit my mouth. Went in to return it and got heckled by the manager Megan. Was told that when purchasing a mouth guard from sport check I was taking a gamble and that I should have known that I was taking that risk when purchasing a mouth guard.
A big box sports store that carries all the standard lines of clothes and gear. They do however stock Vaughan goalie gear which is a big plus. Update: They have pulled all their goalie equipment except sticks. I guess they want you to go to PHL.
