I had an amazing experience at Box of Cards! The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The store has an incredible selection— from rare cards to the latest release, all organized and easy to browse. Prices are fair , and the atmosphere is welcoming whether you are a serious collector or just getting started. I’ll definitely be coming back !
Horrible service left after waiting 15 minutes. 1 client in front of me. Stood by the counter. Man walked in with his kid, and helped them instead. It's ok went and spent my money elsewhere.
Late review. Owner cut a deal with a sports card box purchase. Not my thing, my stepfather loves them. He guided me through what had good hits in it so I didn't buy a dud set. Thanks
Great place to check out. I have been here about 5 times and i will keep coming back. They are Very personable people. They are helpful and does not hesitate to give you advice and help you beyond what a shop normally would.
I hate writing negative reviews, BUT I also truelly believe honesty is important in buisness. I was new and getting into Pokémon, so I asked how many packs came in the swords and shields booster box. To which I was told only 8 decks,looking at the size of the box I found it odd for such a big box while charging $170 dollars...it didnt add up. BUT being new, gullable and trusting I asked "what set would be best for me to sell off, profit wise), NOW this is what angers me. The gentleman working directed me to a way cheaper box too which he told me "it comes with 10 packs and cards people want", not realizing the box he was selling me was the last generation nobody wanted as everybody wanted the new set. Well me thinking less money+more cards= better chances of ROI. But no he sold me what he knew wasnt going to sell, lied about how many booster packs came in the original box (which was the one everyone wanted), broke trust as he does this for a living and knew what he was talking about...he sold me what nobody else would buy, even after I explained to him my purpose ect....so making money obviously comes before customer trust. THIS INFURIATED ME as everyone as different financial starting amounts ect and hope the suppliers will be honest in regards to pricing which I also found out is about $50 more than everywhere else. Knowing I would have a hard time selling the packs he didnt care. He just wanted his old inventory sold, regardless if it was going to affect a fellow buisness owner. Like lieing about the amount of boosters in a box.....now looking at it what booster box even comes with 8? Lmao ? also guidance wise as you can see, you will be directed towards the items they are having a harder time selling and run off that, while letting the wanted items sell them selfs. I dont condone that over honesty sorry...especially to a fellow buisness owner just trying to learn and do proper buisness. Go to BIG comics off essa, you wont be lied too. As to his reply below, I can gladly post online prices compared to yours? I would suggest being honest, befor I make you look very ignorant ? Cough white swords and shields cards in a box $170, Walmart $105....that's 65 over i do believe. :)
False advertising. they dont buy or trade. Only sell? what kind of hobby shop doesent buy or trade and just sells overpriced boxes? thats not good customer service in my books
