Visited the store multiple times in search of a new fridge, they were very helpful in finding what i was looking for and working with me to find the best possible outcome. Happy with my purchase and the process.
We had a tech come out to look at a fridge and price out a hinge replacement for a washer. He was very polite and friendly.1 Apparently the fridge was not repairable but changed his mind and it would be $2000. The hinge for the washer was a $40. Part To have it switched out I was quoted $450. I got the part and switched it out on my own in 40 minutes $40. Not telling you what to do, just sharing what happened
*Will not honour their contract * I would strongly caution anyone against buying appliances from this store. We purchased a washer and dryer just two months ago, and since then, the units they’ve given us have broken down three separate times. Each time they replace them, the replacements also break. Updated** We signed a contract that clearly included a one-year warranty on our appliances, yet they are now refusing to honour it. The only reason given is because I will not remove my honest google review about the problems I’ve experienced. That is unacceptable and unprofessional. A warranty is a legal agreement, not something that should depend on whether or not the customer leaves positive feedback. This shows a complete lack of integrity and respect for their customers. I would strongly caution others against dealing with a business that does not stand by their own contracts
Washer failed within 7 months. The service person I called (who does not have any vested interest to sell me a washer, so unbiased) told me that this is basically a "Matilda" movie set up w quick repairs and crappy products resold that break and that he runs into this frequently. I now have to buy another washer. Will not be returning.
Does not honour warranty that we purchased with machines. 3 out of 4 machines they sold to us broke within 10 cycles (they replaced the first set that broke almost immediately with a new set, the dryer of which is now not heating up at all). After leaving a negative review due to 3 broken machines and multiple delayed repair times Max Appliances is refusing to come fix or replace our machine that is still under warranty unless we take the review down. We are quite upset as we feel a review is within our rights and shouldn't void the contract we paid for. After multiple phone calls, trying to work something out this company is refusing the warranty they sold to us, and we're left with a broken dryer. Do not recommend them at all, buy new appliances instead.
Lovely staff..it’s walked in saw what I needed and everything was completed. The delivery service is top notch, I’ve used in the past, but didn’t need it this tome.. worth the time to check out..
