Absolutely rude to customers. Terrible prices, sells damaged or non-working games, with no way to get your money back just store credit to buy more untested over priced junk. Not worth your time.
Excited to check this place out as I love physical media but for used blu rays 13.99 3 for 30 could easily buy most of these titles for cheaper on Amazon brand new which I did
Unreasonable. Told me I could trade 5 movies I brought in for movies he had. Then wanted to charge me after I had spent 20 mins searching. I also had found four rare titles I was willing to buy but I left those at the counter when. I left with the titles I brought in. Quite a disappointment and a very disheveled looking store, cluttered with junk, and well...save yourself the trouble. Avoid
SO much selection! You can find just about anything. We did get a Nintendo memory pack that ended up not working at all, and the pro controller needed to have some weird liquid cleaned out of it - but that one worked. It is all retro so items are well loved in many cases and to be expected. Be sure to check things work and save the receipt. Would have been nice to check inventory on a computer to see if specific games are there rather than searching through stacks and boxes - But outside that, this place has SO much, from games to consoles to other vintage items. It's worth a visit!
Video Time has an amazing selection of retro video games, consoles and movies but is often overpriced. You have to really know your video game prices before you enter the store and hope that what you want is decently priced. I noticed that Video Time's higher priced on the older retro games (N64, SNES, etc.) but decently priced on more recent games (PS4). I'm always really impressed with the consoles and peripherals (Rumble pack, controllers) that are almost always in stock. The store is well merchandised but needs more organization as games can be piled anywhere and everywhere.
Videotime continues to let me down with their laughable prices, they seem to just pull these prices out of thin air. If you do some research you can easily see how badly you're getting ripped off. I've been going to videotime since I was a kid and it's disappointing to see how they have changed. You have many other locations in the city that have more fair prices. I would reccomend checking those first.
This guy is a rip off artist...is trying to charge up to 150$ for old Sega and Nintendo games that are used with any box or anything...will try and under pay for games then if he does buy them...then the owner tries to sell them at full retail price for used games...stay away from this place
