I went to Cash Ur Check at 5A Clapperton Street to process my cheque, and the experience was smooth and quick. The staff were professional and explained everything clearly. I received the money right away — they offer both cash and Interac e-Transfer options, which is really convenient. Definitely recommend if you need fast cheque cashing in Barrie.
I have used them a few times for currency exchanges. They used to be good and strive to be competitive. The last few times I have called in their rates were consistently the worst rates I had gotten in Barrie. Moreover the current staff are very rude. When I asked if there was anything better they could do, I was told to go shop with whoever has given me the best rate.
Said I needed a certification from the bank to cash my cheque, sent me on a wild goose chase just for me to find out the bank hasn’t done that for years and got it cashed at Money Mart easily.
They said that they don't cash checks but their company is called checks for cash makes no sense called them to see if they could help me out and they don't help s***
