We had an amazing day out on the lake! We rented 2 pontoon boats, we swam, we fished. Boats were easy to run and service at the office and on the dock was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for helping my family make great memories. We will definitely be back.
Been coming to this place lots this summer and has been absolutely perfect for my needs. If your looking for a quick & easy way to get off the banks for fishing or just wanna enjoy a day on the water you won’t find a better spot locally.
What a snotty place, called about boat rental, the young girl answering the phone answers every question with “ No Clue” , and says it in a flamboyant way. Well, HELLOOOOO, you are the smallest , shabbiest boat rental operation in Ontario and you act like you are some type of posh yacht club. What a disgrace!
Very little parking available. Which is why a reservation is required. This is not a park but private property and is only available to those renting boats.
I rent pontoon boat at last day of operate. I and my son had no luck for morning and staffs gave me tips where to fishing what to use for bait. my son was really happy that trip. I really apricate your service and friendly . See you next year.
The rating is a bit harsh because I like the place. It's convenient and it's a huge lake. The problem is that they don't really have a great shop nor great food options. Should get 4 stars, but that would leave little room for improvement and they could use a lot. Also, the people that own cottages around the place can be annoying by disrupting the fishing with their jet skis and other pleasure craft. Sometimes they come right up to you without any regard for the people trying to fish. Really annoying.
Very affordable and super friendly staff. Amazing place to spend the day with family. Can't wait to go back.
Great prices for boat rentals. Wish the docks to the boats were a little more sturdy. Especially being a bigger guy. Some great catching. Between me and 3 other guys we caught about 18 fish mainly pike and like 4 bass.
Everyone is friendly and we never leave with less than 20 fish. But there is A LOT of weeds in the water. Definitely makes it harder to fish, but sometimes even hard to get your boat through it. They could use some more snacks available in their shop... as well as minows and ice. But i stand by this place. Love going there!
I have been going here for the past 23 years of my life, we try to make it out at least once a year due to being on a tight budget. After Saturdays experience we will not be returning ever again.. the owner needs to teach some of his staff how to treat and talk to customers..
