This park is great pretty much any season except winter! There are flush washrooms open during daylight hours May-October, and a port-a-potty during winter. (Though the city might want to rethink that, as the port-a-potty had snow inside it when we were there this winter) The play structure and beach are clean and in good repair. There's an area to get small boats/windsurfing boards intl the water, a little grassy area ideal for picnics or soccer, lots of parking for the small size of the park. No dogs allowed, so not ideal for pet owners. Great park with beautiful waterfront views!

A lovely smaller beach on lake simcoe if you don't want to deal with the huge crowds during the day at centennial park. Also a good place for rock skipping. However, if you like swimming deep, this isn't the area I'd recommend as opposed to centennial beach, as the algae gets pretty thick pretty quickly.

Great beach. We arrived for a birthday party on a cool summer's day but after a kick of a soccer on the secluded, quiet beach and game of grounders on the playground, we warmed right up. The sun had shown itself and we enjoyed a quick swim in the part sand, part rock pebble beach. It made for a really nice day out. It's quieter than many of the other beaches an parks around Kempenfelt bay, which was great for us. The parking is 24/7 paid which is less than ideal for a secluded quiet spot although didn't detract from the great location for us. Highly recommend!

Love coming to this beach in Barrie. Typically quite quiet in comparison to how busy Centennial Beach can be. There is a play area for kids and a significant sized sand beach to catch some rays on! My family and I always paddleboard out from this beach since the water is quite calm.

Very nice park and beach area. The area has quite a few trees, so there is shaded areas. There are picnic tables available and benches to sit on. The beach area is a little rocky and closer to the water has a lot of zebra mussels on the beach, so keeping sandals on or having swim shoes is a must. Overall, it's a fun area to bring the kids to play and to picnic. Plus, the resident parking passes are good to use at this location, so that's always good.
