I haven't been to this 'OnTheMarkVintage' store BUT it is on my calendar to get there this Fall Season. It looks inviting, clean, bright and this is the kind of thrift store where I would spend a morning or afternoon! Have a great day everyone and Happy Labour Day, everyone!!!
We stopped in Barrie to stretch our legs and grab some food on the way back from a cottaging trip and happened upon this vintage store while wandering the downtown area. In short, it was a great find with so many unique items. Prices are reasonable and you can tell there is a lot of thought going into each piece on offer. Lots of great T-shirts, hats, pants, and jackets. The owner is super friendly and helpful. If I lived in or near Barrie I would be at this place a lot.
This shop is something special! Mark & Evan have created such a cool, welcoming, and stylish environment that you just want to spend time in. You can tell this shop is curated with passion and a love of retro clothes!
Mark has created a store that makes you feel something so notably nostalgic as soon as you enter. The environment of the store feels like you’re finding the vintage pieces in their natural habitat like in your “cool older brother’s closet”. You are surrounded by pop cultural memorabilia, iconic brands and logos and just generally a “let loose” attitude that automatically puts you at ease. This store has everything you could need, from an iconic graphic tee shirt, to Carhartt jeans and jackets to amazing trucker hats! Mark clearly has a deep love and appreciation for vintage apparel. His wicked eye brings in a wide range of whimsical, rad, quirky, iconic and stellar pieces. Mark truly is OnTheMark with this store and his vision. Keep being you Mark!
Craig’s Trading Co. is a staple in my downtown Barrie adventures. The owner is professional and always bringing in new vintage finds. He is polite and will take the time to have a conversation with you. There is a wide variety of styles from jerseys, to graphic tees, shoes, and jeans. Craig’s carries male and female clothing, however most unique thrifty finds could be considered gender neutral. It is definitely worth checking out, you will not be disappointed.
Honest to gosh the best place to stop into on your way to Muskoka!! The store has an awesome vibe, unique to the owner, and is full of the coolest cloths. The guy that runs the place is pretty awesome too. Absolutely worth the visit!
The atmosphere at Craig’s is one a kind. Stocked with great items & staffed with even better people. If you’re looking for vintage clothing or a solid chat, Craig’s will not disappoint. 10/10
