Not impressed. Stopped in this afternoon and found a vintage book I’d been looking for. It had two price tags… $17 tag on the front, $3 tag on the back. Asked the guy at the cash “is it $3?”. He replied yes. Then rang it in at $17. Told him to forget it, that I can buy a brand new copy for $20 and get the ebook for $8. This book was in rough shape, not worth $17. Not sure what kind of game they’re trying to play but will never go back.
I drop goods off. I shop here. Totally forgot today when I went there with my elderly husband that they DO NOT let customers use their washrooms. They do not care how bad you have to go. Or any health issues someone may have to go in a emergency. This happened about a year ago and I forgot about this. I did look this up and if your dealing with customers, they must have access to a washroom. I will be following this up with the right people who would oversee this. Also I thought this was Christian based this store. But after talking with the manager and the washroom situation, there is no Christianity in her.
Yes it happens I guess, I should have checked it myself before I bought it, but They should have seen inside an Aro garden before selling it to me. I brought it home and opened it. FULL of large dead cockroachs and eggs. I paid 9$ so I didn't bother taking it back and threw it out! Had an experience before here with a chair and bed bugs.Brought it up to an employee and they just shrugged and said that's why they don't like to sell furniture it can happen anywhere so be aware. But twice here! I think I am done shopping here. Please Do Better! How could you not see that? Not trying to be mean , but i am posting this so people dont don't make the mistake I did. They have went downhill the past 2 years. Way too expensive and selling bugs to people.
I love shopping here but they close their store before 5pm even though it says until 5 they locked the doors. If you want to close your store early then please change the times so people don't wait their time driving there. I just needed to run in and grab one item and there was still 15 mins until closing. The lady at the counter saw me but did not seem to care.
Bought a set of dominos on sale for a quarter. Came home to play it and realized half way through the game that many of the game pcs are duplicates. Bahahaha Good One Re-Source! You got me :)
Don't mistake the small size of this place, the savings and deals are big. I love how they use the same colours on their end caps and displays. The volunteers are so friendly. But the clearance and sporting section could use some more organizing, I just walk by because it's so busy and at the very back you have to stand sideways to look at things.
Favourite thrift store (I really like the cundles location as well). The store is always clean, organized, and has amazing sales. The staff are very friendly and make every visit awesome!
