If anyone lies to my face they get one star, this guy lied in under a minute and I did my homework. If you think these are good prices I found the same parts brand etc for under half what they wanted. I'm fixing my car to save money, I'm not going to dump half my money on a dishonest shop owner. Do your research consumers, including consumer protection laws, and if you own a parts shop and a customer calls and said they looked into pricing already you better believe them. Calling your customer a liar is worse than being one yourself.
The clerk behind the counter ( I think he is the owner...always the same guy there) is knowledgeable, if not particularly helpful. Always has what I need in stock. Good prices and usually has 2 or 3 quality levels to buy from. Remember, you get what you pay for. If he is in conversation with someone, expect to wait 20 minutes before he gets to you....or just come back later.
Walked into a very cluttered parts shop. I understand their may be a lot of parts to store however, I believe a clean store front would make a difference. I don't know a lot about cars, so I often look for places that will explain to me what I need to know but won't cheap me out. I asked for Front Rotors and Pads , he asked me my car and model and what not. I paid what I believe to be a fair price. But he only offered me what he gave me, which then in turn in eyes of my mechanic were bad parts that won't last very long. It would have been nice to be given the option.
Very nice people, carried my parts out to the truck for me and loaded them in becuase they were heavy. Honest company and excellent prices. Would highly recommend
Here's the deal with VSA: Inexpensive car parts. You'll be hard pressed to find the same part for less money somewhere else. What's missing from the experience is professional, efficient, and reliable customer service. Sometimes I've ordered parts and day after day, they were supposed to arrive in store "tomorrow". Sometimes I've ordered things and they had the order ready and at the desk. Basically, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for an auto parts store that polishes your shoes or installs your wiper blades for you, look elsewhere. If you're looking for functional parts at affordable prices, then go to VSA.
Consumer beware! Terrible staff and horrible quality components. Nothing but a bad experience, from poor customer service skills to premature part failure. Warranty? Forget it, never again!
