We stopped by pet value today as we do many times, we are so grateful for Dana's advice and this is the only location we will go to because we trust her knowledge,wisdom, care and passion that shines so brightly from her. Feel taken advantage of and bamboozled by the groomer. My dog is 1 year old and has been washed but this was his first cut after the winter, so we wanted to get him groomed knowing it would cost a pretty penny however the groomer called and said he’s very hard to work his so it’s going to take time and cost more for his skill; we were ok with that. He called some 3 hours later and we got the dog only for him to come home and both his ears were bleeding and his claws were not trimmed. We paid 290 and the groomer had convinced my Fiance that he can give him 110 cash and do the rest on debit to save tax. After sitting for a while I realize he ripped us off and made us over pay and after speaking to the store worker she said that Is not something they do. I just feel very taken advantage of and almost stolen from…I love my dog and want him to be clean but to come home with 2 bleeding ears and claws not trimmed 3 hours and $290 when the true cost at the store was probably $200 is unjustified.
My favourite pet store! I can get anything I ever need there. Raw food, kibble, treats toys. Always very kind staff ready to help you and have a little small talk.
It's my favorite store to go for all of my pets' needs. They provide quality products & and are highly knowledgeable. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!
I've been going to pet value in Barrie in Wellington plaza for quite some time, and have been dealing with a cat problem, Dana has been and still continues to help me with this issue, she takes soo much pride in what she does,she is truly trying to help me.
Brought my older dog here for grooming and could not have asked for a more knowledgable, patient and caring person to groom him. Alex was awesome with Brad even when he was getting anxious and starting whining and barking and fussing. After all that they even gave Brad a complementary bag of treats, which he loves ! Thanks again to Alex and the rest of the staff; great group of people !
Not impressed with the cat groomer at all. Only at the location once a month and couldn't even come in for that. Booked the day off work a month ago for the groom just to walk there with my cat from downtown just to find she called in. Won't be back.
