What more can I say other than Cabela's has a huge assortment of outdoor gear and clothing at great prices! Check out their website (especially the clearance section ) and their flyers as there are some great deals to be had on hunting equipment! I picked up a Cabela's brand 6x24-44 ffp scope on sale for $350 (scope was 25% off and I also had am email coupon/discount for $20) which has turned out to be just as good as the $800 Nikon 6x24-44 ffp scope that my buddy bought at the same time, and my Cabela's scope also comes with a lifetime warranty! Be safe out there my friends!

I'm not planning to suffer wet feet in the bush until the bottoms of my boots fall offI have spent thousands of dollars here over the years.I was a very loyal customer of Cabela's for years. I am very disappointed with the direction the company has taken with it's own "Cabela's" branded goods.The Cabela's brand has always been a cheaper alternative to the major brands available that they carry as well. Traditionally the Cabela's branded products have been slightly lower end than the competition however they had always been backed by the "Iron Clad Warranty". That meant that if the item suffers a manufactures defect they will replace it for you at no cost. These products were never all that much cheaper even though they are clearly a mass produced made in china product that the Cabela's label goes on. However the warranty made the purchase worth it because if it didn't last they would replace it.Recently they have pulled the program and the "lifetime" warranty that sold me on many products has some how vanished. I understand that this may not be a sustainable business model any more and that the new products may not be lasting as long so they no longer want to offer this type of guarantee on them.(what confidence in your own brand)However it's not like they didn't factor replacement units into the costs of the items they were selling for years. To all of a sudden pull the warranty on products that have already been sold is not ethical business. I'm a very unsatisfied customer not because your staff is untrained or lacks professionalism but because I was sold products under false pretenses. I will likely be sticking with smaller retailers who keep there promises. If I want name brand goods that are available everywhere or cheap items I cant return when they break I'll go to Amazon.ca because they deliver to your door for free and I know what to expect.
Nicest staff. Feels like a local mom and pop shop. Not only is the service great the staff is genuinely considerate of all their customers.It's a real pleasure to bring the kids here. Sale prices are good too.
My husband enjoys your store and shops there regularly. I joined him on this trip. You had a reel advertised in your flyer that you actually didn't have in stock any longer and was actually supposed to a different reel. So we asked a gentleman named Rick about the reel and if he could help us find it. He was extremely short with us and just said no we don't have that anymore. I was questioning why would it be advertised then? He just couldn't be bothered to answer any of our questions. A young lady named Alex could see how short he was with us and actually apologized for his lack of customer service. She was amazing she actually took us to the computer and did some investigating as to what happened and told us it was an error and then showed us to the one that was actually intended to be in the flyer. She was extremely helpful and very friendly. We had been disappointed about the advertisment error and the customer service until Alex helped us out. I just wanted whom ever to know how great she was. She deserves to be commended for her outstanding customer service.
