It's such a shame what has happened to thrift stores! $8 for a used plush toy is not very thrifty or helpful to the community. The prices here are insane considering this is a charity meant to help the community
I went in today, the lady with blonde hair was extremely rude to one particular customer who was very nice and asked for assistance but she just started yelling at them to the point where you can hear her across the store. The customer even apologized for the inconvenience but she literally sighed and was just rude. She also had an nasty attitude towards customers in general not friendly at all Like she's forced to work there. Makes you never want to step foot in the store again. Do better.
the amount of times i’ve gone in here and there are items out on the floor that without a price tag but then refuse to sell to customers is ridiculous. if volunteers and staff can’t price things properly do not make it the customers problem. if you want people to continue supporting this business then maybe have kinder staff. I have encountered similar situations when trying to return items that are broken upon getting home with them. these items are donated and do not cost anything to put on the shelf.
This Mission Thrift store is my "go to" when ever I am looking for treasures. The staff are all volunteers and I am impressed with how many are working. They offer their time to serve customers from all walks of life, and have always been helpful, kind and courteous to me. I have read some negative reviews below and I am shocked at how petty some of them are. This store is clean, bright, organized, the prices are great, it is a thrift store, and all proceeds go to help others. If I have come across two items priced differently, I bring it up to the cash, they always honour the lower price. I love donating here as well. When they have enough staff they do go through my donation, and will let me know if it is acceptable. (the Salvation Army Thrift store does the same) I totally understand. They want to recycle gently used, not someones garbage. Be kind to the staff, they are 100% volunteers, most seniors and they do a great job repairing electronics, cleaning glasses, eye wear, organizing the isles. Keep up the awesome work Mission Thrift Store volunteers! you ladies and gentlemen are AWESOME!!
My weekly treasure hunt! This store has hard working volunteers who greet you with a smile! The store is clean and all merchandise is well displayed. I’m always amazed at what I find and the pricing is reasonable. I’ve also donated items to the store so it’s a definite win-win!
Bidding on items is absolutely ridiculous for a thrift store. Shelves are half empty. They make it too hard to donate items they will only take what they like from you. However the store is quite clean and organized
They're doing it right! The store is well organized and clean, the prices are fair and the staff are very pleasant.
This store has charity written all over it. So clean and organized. Neat and tidy. Wonderful prices and 100% net goes to Christian needs. Love it! The volunteers are very kind.
For a small little thrift store, I was able to find two things that I was looking for. Very clean and organized
This store also has excellent bargins for the bargin shopper, I would have gone to 5 stars if they also had a seniors discount, but they dono't, now they also have an auction that you can place bids on monthly for mostly modern stuff if thats what your into, end of story
