Its the best retail experience Ive had (the Barrie store) in a long time. Every time Im in the store the staff is really helpful and friendly. Plus their integrity is great. They have price protected me on everything I bought this year - which is great since I spent more than I should have. Special thanks to Jamie who was especially patient in the hitting area :)
I had a very positive experience at Golf Town Barrie. After two club fittings at other major fitting studios I had a third one with Bruce at Golftown. It turned out to be he best experience and provided the most comprehensive report on performance. I ordered a custom set of Callaway Rogue Pro Irons and they arrived very quickly. They lost one star because my sand wedge was delayed two weeks. A floor associate, Tom, was very helpful, was very honest in his assessments and went out of his way to provide me with hitting time. The final great feature is that you have a month to hit them and then they will refit in a new club if you are not totally satisfied. No other place had this confidence in their product.
Hardly worth the trip. Very minimal stock of ladies golf clothing. Most in larger sizes. Went to another golf town location to find what I wanted.
Opens at 10 am. ???? Been sitting here since 9. Watched a dozen customers come and go. And another 1/2 dozen people waiting til 10am. What's wrong with u golf town? Golf is an early sport. And plain and simple a loss of business!
Excellent location with knowledgeable and friendly staff. All of my questions were answered quickly and no nonsense. Hats off to the assistant manager in on Saturdays, Im sorry I have forgotten his name, but I think its time he gets a good promotion.However, like most golf towns, the pricing is far to high for this years and last years clubs. An example being the Rogue driver; $800 here and $650 just about anywhere else.
