We visited this location for two new phones. The service provided by the manager Tommy was exceptional. He went above and beyond! I always dread the day I have to get a new phone but he made the process easy, fun, and stress free! There were no hidden costs and no gimmicks and plans were changed with ease. He transferred everything from both phones to the new phones and took the time to answer questions and suggest something if there was a better option we had not thought of. I highly recommend you visit this location if you are looking to upgrade your phone!
I had a disappointing experience with whoever answers the phones at this location for Koodo. The guy I spoke with on the phone was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. Instead of helping me understand my issue, he spoke over me and made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter. I expect basic courtesy and professionalism, especially when dealing with customer support, and unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. I hope the company addresses this, because experiences like this make it hard to continue with their services. I went to Orillia instead and had a 10/10 experience, will not return to barrie location.
Fantastic service! Tommy, the new sales manager saved my vacation when my phone died hours before my flight, he was able to get my plan updated, get me a new phone and out the door in 20 minutes. He even managed to find me a better plan in the process. I will absolutely be returning here, and I recommend Koodo and this store specifically
Tommy and Ayush were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and super helpful. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and took the time to walk us through everything clearly and patiently. My sister got a new plan with them, and they made the whole process smooth and easy. They explained all the options, helped set everything up, and made sure we left with exactly what she needed. On top of all that they even gave me free phone screen protector so that was great!

I recently bought a phone and a new plan from this shop. Despite asking multiple times if there were any additional fees or charges, they assured me there were none - just the standard montly plan charge. I made the mistake of not reading the entire contract. It turns out they were dishonest, and I noticed an additional charge on my account. They couldn’t explain the extra charge and refused to refund it. Be cautious and read the contract thoroughly to avoid being misled. ***Two-year update: They said I would have to pay $200 if I didn’t bring it back, but I ended up paying more than that. They lie to you and then deny everything they said. Don’t trust a word they tell you - take your time and read the entire contract, including the fine print. That’s where they fool you.
Was very pleased with the excellent customer service provided by Sudhir who helped me purchase a new cell phone and switch my plan from Rogers to Telus. The process can be overwhelming, but he made it completely painless. Even though I took up a great deal of his time, he was patient and kind the whole time. Nice to see that great customer service still exists in the cell phone industry!
