I had very attentive service. My questions were answered patiently. I did not feel rushed, and I appreciated that he wasn't trying to upsell me constantly. He tried to match me to a phone that's in line with my skill level.
Sag at Telus on Cedar Pt Road in Barrie was fantastic! These days, good service is rare. Sag made my visit completely stress free and I’ll definitely recommend him to friends.
Amy was very helpful with any questions I had. She responded to emails quickly and took time to call me when I had additional questions. She took the time, step by step to help me set up accounts for my kids. Great customer service!
Disappointed in the service at this location. The first time I attended in person to set up my EPP, the rep at the desk showed me a $73 (incl. tax) plan that I would be placed with (BYOD). I was looking forward to the lower phone bill. I find out that I still had a month left to pay off my phone, so a different rep called me and explained that it would be "cheaper" if I waited to join EPP. Fair enough I thought, without investigating it. A month later I call to set up EPP (phone was paid off), the rep said she'd call me back to confirm details but never did. I called myself to confirm everything. $75 for the 10 GB seemed great, but what happened to the $73 incl. taxes? Oh yeah, SmartCell/Telus FAILED to inform me that there were changes made to the Telus plans all along. After investigating on Telus' website, I frustratingly found out that the consumer plan is exactly the same $75 10 GB. Further, when emailing Brie I asked twice what the price would be INCLUDING tax. She continued to say "75 plus hst". I ended up calculating the amount myself. Gone are the "YourChoice" 30% plans that I was about to take. Worse part is, all the reps here played along with it, failing to mention about all the changes. By that point, it was TOO late to stay on the consumer plan; they already made changes to my account. To join EPP it is a $50 charge, and some other random charges that I am still waiting to see on my next bill. Try to avoid this Telus location - this is totally unacceptable.
