I had an extremely enjoyable experience. Initially I came in with my eldest daughter to browse and get some ideas to furnish a new apartment. We were greeted promptly, assisted, and even had a favorite item placed on hold. Events occurred and it didn’t look like I’d be able to return for said held item. Events worked out and I was able to return a few days later. My held item was still there and we were able to complete my order. Plus a few more needed items. Tina is a real asset to Smitty’s Furniture & a wonderful human! Thank you.
They did not pressure us, however they were helpful, knowledgeable, kind, friendly and respectful. Canadian made products and a Canadian store. We would recommend and go back!

She has been delivered!!! The Decor Rest condo sized sofa came in quickly as promised and the Smitty's delivery team were amazing! My husband and daughter and I had a very good experience with Cassandra. Not pushy and honest, which I appreciated. I really liked the service. And the delivery guys were also nice. One thing though. I am used to shopping at places where you receive a refund when you aren't satisfied or change your mind, because I feel as though you need to see things in your home to be sure. I did change my mind as soon as my furniture came in I didn't find my sofa too comfortable and I didn't like the way it fit in my living room, (this was just one day after it was delivered) and they were going to charge me a 25% restocking fee!!! It would have been over $800(!) For nothing! Now I totally understand paying for delivery charges, and maybe even a small restocking fee, but 25% to me was ridiculous. So I kept it and made it work but I would love to have had a different sofa really. From now on I am only shopping places whether I can get a refund. Like Costco and places like that.i would just like to add after having our sofa and chair for less than a year for the price we aren't very happy. My husband and I both have bad backs and there seems to not be much support on these. Also my husband is a big guy but he is not overweight and when he sits on it it caves in badly. Not too happy with quality but happy with service.
