Went this week to Barrie Alignment & Brakes, went on Monday for an alignment for my car, I received an amazing service, my tires were in a really bad state and they took the time to show me , explain me, and let me know that the alignment was not possible with the tires like that, which I really appreciated it, the honesty with the situation was amazing. After I changed all my tires, I took it here and even though the had full schedule they were able to squeeze me, did an amazing job, and even gave me a report of the before and after, simply amazing! I’m always worried to go a place regarding fixing cars because it happens a lot of times that the want to overcharge you or scam you with something (specially if your are a women & don’t know much about cars) but that’s was NOT the case at all in this business. They were very transparent, honest, very quick, they actually have a screen on the waiting room were you can see your car alignment live, it was simply an amazing experience. I brought my car in for an alignment after replacing a few suspension components and I was more than pleased with the visit! Booking was easy, they started on time, and I was in and out in under an hour total. It was also pretty neat being able to see the alignment work being done in real time. Compared to previous work I've had done at the dealership, this alignment was also way more accurate. Thank you for a smooth visit!

Even though it was Friday, after hours, they stayed late to get my car back in working condition. The mechanic was incredibly honest, which is something I really appreciated, and the price for the repair was surprisingly affordable given the circumstances. I got breaks done here and they were making noise within a week. I made an appointment and took time off work to attend. After a 30 minute wait I was told it would be another hour and a half before they can take my car. This is bs. The receptionist didn’t seem to care that I went home frustrated. I would not recommend this shop to anyone ever. I’m still waiting for a call from the owner it’s been months. Since I’ve paid they aren’t interested in fixing their mistakes in my break job. I was told what’s the point because I already left them a bad review. STAY AWAY!!!
I have been coming back to this shop ever since I brought my first car here in 2022. These guys are the real deal. Very kind knowledgeable and efficient. Whenever I have a concern that could be serious, they always find a way to squeeze me into their schedule, even if it's last minute. The receptionist is very kind and knowledgeable as well. They truly are an honest business, which is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here if you need a checkup or service.
Had two repairs done by them within the last year fail on me withon that same year. Asked for front caliper replacement after they seized, they seized again after 6 months. Got my rear shocks replaced when the bracket broke. Just broke today, less than 6 months since that repair. I'm done. Only take cars to them that you don't care about or be prepared to replace the repair jobs within a few months.
