Ordered the Singapore Noodles lunch special! Massive portion, but very bland, no spice or heat; very little flavour. Basically just rice noodles and chicken drenched in curry powder. Order this dish all the time from Lee’s Kitchen on bayfield. Much better always packed with flavour and better price. This felt very poorly thrown together! Would not recommend.
Hey guys I ordered shrimp fried rice & beef with broccoli. Fried rice I could see there shrimp & few green onions only,guys need to improve a lot on dishes and broccoli like eating full of tree, need to be small pieces. I am totally disappointed.
Just okay good..nothing special. Chicken teriyaki was bland...the general tso Chicken was bland as well. Fried rice was ok. The lemon chicken was good. Don't think I'd go back unfortunately.
Placed an order last week. For fried rice and spring rolls. The food was very bad quality and wasn’t worth the money. As others have stated it made me very sick. The owner told us when we bought our food that she will give us a can of pop and spring rolls if we place rate their restaurant 5 stars on google. Some members of my family did the same and hours later ended up with food poisoning.
Chef Chan is the best take-out Chinese restaurant in Barrie! Their house fried rice is absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The Szechuan chicken is a must-try; it has just the right amount of spice and is incredibly satisfying. The prices are fantastic, offering great value for the generous portions. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making the ordering process a breeze. If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine to enjoy at home, Chef Chan is the place to go! Highly recommend!
We have been ordering from ChefChan for many years ,sometimes with various level of satisfaction, but for the most part the food was always fresh. We ordered Saturday evening and it was awful! service was off hand, the food especially the vegetables were not fresh and that’s a first. The whole menu was practically inedible, a huge disappointment and complete waste of money, most ended in the compost container.Needless to say we will never, ever order from Chef Chan again.
Service was great. Order lunch special chicken Cantonese cho main. Omg. It’s so plain and the beef tasted off. Dumped the entire thing. It”s so awful to have this food when you are hungry. Never come back again! I’m sorry for the low star but this place needs some serious improvement.
