Food was really good, the atmosphere was pretty average, but clean. But the waitress, I think her name was Montana or Dakota or some other “location” name”, added a ton of money to my tip on the machine. Like something ridiculous like %200. Be really careful there when paying with card.
Dakota is lovely. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable as i worked on my laptop. She even got an extension chord for me. She is a gem and bonus that she lived on the west coast. Shout-outs to her for the hospitality. Ol west is lucky to have her
First and foremost, service was great, no issues! However, the establishment looks like they haven't updated anything for the past few years, and the food was mediocre at best. I really tried to like the food but the wings tasted rough with a lot of exterior seasoning to mask the quality of the protein. For their price, it's a bit underwhelming and the meal felt as if I was eating for sustenance and not enjoyment.
We only live 2 minutes away, literally around the corner.. decided to give the place another try.. bad idea.. once again Seems the only people welcome are the owners “friends” or regulars.. everyone in the restaurant had to stop and take a look at the “new” people Server wasn’t friendly and tried to take our order before our drinks even arrived.. and we didn’t even have menus, we decided to just get wings, we only received 7 each in our “pounds” with NO napkins, cutlery, veggies or dip.. waited around for the bill, and had to go to the bar and get it myself.. save your time money and experience… Place is a dive (dump) don’t even waste your time here, Honestly recommend driving to the other location across town!! I give Ol west wing (211 ferndale drive) A easy 5 star
The servers were really nice the food was pretty decent nothing bad to say but went outside to make a phonecall and when i came inside they cut me off the server was even surprised but the manager made the call so I'd say not the best managing and bad communication... that's why its only a 2 star for me probably won't come back nor recommend but that's just an experience. I'm sure they r not that bad of a place
Wings were okay but I found them overpriced for what you get. I went a couple days later to meet some friends and had a burger it was okay. Local business in the area.
Whenever I am in Barrie, I always have to stop in because I have a weakness for the crispy chicken burger. I can no longer look at chicken sandwiches from other restaurants the same and am forever comparing them to Ol' West Wing
