Don’t go here it’s so overpriced and the customer service is awful. The owners are u credibly rude and condescending. After reading the reviews It’s clear this is a common occurrence here.
Horrible customer service by the owner. For the first time ever, I find myself writing a bad review. Today I bought a gas can and filled it with gas, proceeded to my farm and to put it the gas in my machine. Unfortunately, the seal on the gas can was defective and leaked gas all over my machine and my husband. Less than 3 1/2 hours later, I went back to this gas station to ask for an exchange and to let them know that it was defective. I didn’t ask for my money back, I reasonably asked for an exchange so that they could send it to the manufacturers and get their money back. However, the owner said no. Seriously??? I guess this was too much effort for a loyal customer. I spend between $1500 and $2000 per month on gas and diesel at this gas station, going out of my way to “support local”, though it is always cheaper to just get it in Barrie or Orillia. I live just down the road and I also have a farm nearby. I will be telling every single one of my friends and neighbours about this incident. I guess a few dollars was not worth giving good customer service to a loyal local customer. Wow.
I came off the highway running out of Gas.. I got to the station at 9:40pm . The hours show they close at 9pm. I was so lucky that the wonderful lady working and closing up for the night allowed me to get gas. She must have saw the panic on my face when I approached the store which was locked for the night. It was a very kind to do this after hours!! It so happens 2 other cars pulled up after me and she let them have gas too!! Wow great customer service.. I will definitely be making a stop here every chance I get.. thanks
I would never recommend going here, literally price gouging. Filled up today for $1.54, as I was making my way into Orillia( 15 minutes after filling up) the Esso gas station at prices corner was $1.39. A 15 cent difference. Can the owner please explain this.
Pulled in at 8:57pm and the attendant turned off all the lights and pump as I put the nozzle in the fuel tank. Hours on Google stated closed at 9:00pm not 8:57pm.
It's an Esso. The price here is typically higher than other Esso's. I typically fill $10-$20 then fill up at another gas station afterwards. If you need air in tires, it's a good spot. There is a lot of parking at the back/side of the building.
Horrible experience unfortunately at this Esso. On our way to Family for Thanksgiving, pulling a trailer. It’s a tight Esso, but no issue for us. A gentleman was pumping at the only diesel pump, no worries. We waited. As he was finishing, a woman came and asked gentleman in front of us if he was “almost done” as we were blocking her pump and she “needed” to pump. We had waited for the diesel pump for a solid 10 minutes at this point. Clerk comes out after lady behind complains, telling us to “go out back to pump diesel” and told us we were not allowed to pump at this diesel pump (in which we had waited for, for 10 minutes at least). Gentleman pulls ahead to let us pump, as it was now too tight for us to turn into the back, as directed by clerk. Clerk tells us to go out back again, but we were clearly blocked in by impatient lady and kind gentleman who had moved forward. My spouse explained we would be pumping at the diesel pump we waited for (there were NO no trailer signs anywhere). Clerk told us he wouldn’t authorized the pump for us to fuel up We ended up leaving. While we can respect everyone being frustrated, our time and energy is as important as any other customer. There were no signs indicating no trailers allowed and NO signs indicating additional diesel pumps were in the back. Horrific customer service. There’s another Esso 15km down the road with fantastic customer service, who cater to all cars/trucks/trailers.
