This place is the best kept secret in Barrie! DElLICIOUS Thai food, wonderful atmosphere in an old Victorian home on the Barrie waterfront! Recent upgrades inside and the food is NEVER a disappointment. The Victorian home might not be what you have in mind for an amazing restaurant, never mind Thai restaurants - but dont let the stop you from going inside. This family quickly gets to know their returning customers. Great food for a fair price!!
Happened upon this gem today by mistake! Happy mistake, indeed! Amazing food, beautiful clean restaurant. We sat on the patio in the sun, which was lovely on a beautiful summer day like today.We enjoyed the pad Thai lunch special. Delicious! Wonderful service, friendly, clean and welcoming. We will be back for sure! Thank you!!!
Had a lovely dinner here, staff attentive and friendly. Food was all amazing, we enjoyed chicken fried rice, chicken cashew nut, veggie soup, calamari and spring rolls. Highly recommend. The bonus was we sat out on the patio looking out over the bay with a nice light breeze.
Closest to authentic taste by far. Rosted duck Red curry is really good. Fried rice is not oily and quite tasty. I will definitely visit more often if it is not 4hr drive away. Recommend to those who wants to try Thai spicy food.
This is one of those restaurants that you go to for the experience and to be transported thousands of kilometres away to the place of it origin.The food is delicious and service is traditional. Though slow to come out I feel it takes nothing away from the experience as you are immersed in the atmosphere of Thailand. It is family run and yes they are Thai. Read the travel books and look around. They like it. When the food arrives it is transportive. Well worth the wait and the price.Remember, it doesnt always have to be pretty it just has to be GREAT.(wonderful here)
