Amazing authentic Chinese food. Ask for the real Chinese food menu and enjoy. It has mala and many other hard to find favorites.
If you really want GREAT Chinese Cantonese Chow Mein, do not go here. The Royal Oak in Orillia is good & The Rickshaw in Gravenhurst is worth the drive. Mei's had mini, mini shrimp, one piece of broccoli, 4 pieces of chicken & a TON of noodles. Terrible, have never been so disappointed in my life. Does not even rate a star.
Wow what great authentic Chinese food. The spicy tripe was really good and really spicy! Also we have eggplant and potatoes and braised pork belly. There were also great! It fed 4 adults including fried rice. We ate all the food before I could take a picture.
Authentic made from scratch food. So friendly. Get the dumplings, but they are only available if if Mei is there to make them. Ask them to recommend food and you'll enjoy even more.
CUSTOMERS BE AWARE: HEALTH CONCERNThey use cheapest kind of white foam take out containers which deforms and melts into your food. Sauce at the bottom of the container was mixed w peeled off plastic foam. I am so angry that my two year old ate tiny piece of melted plastic along with her food. I warned the manager if he continues to use the same containers I will make sure to report to authorities.
