The vibes of the place is great. Staff is nice. But what happened to the basics called food? My Pie did not even have sufficient cheese on it. Many slices only had the sauce! I don't understand the fact that how can a professional chef let a bite go away without the cheese? I come from Hospitality industry and the first rule of serving food is to create an experience in every bite of the food. I wonder what the in the world did I eat and paid for.
First time coming here and it was great. Ordered the Pepperoni Plus Pie for about $16.50 along with Yukon Gold Fries for $7. Portions were large (pizza is 12 Inches in diameter) and could easily feed two people. However, prices were a bit steep and the pizza crust was very, very thin. Nevertheless, maple glaze on the pizza was extraordinary and the fries and dips were delicious. Would recommend this place if youre willing to spend a bit of your money!
Always try to make it out to Pie whenever I'm the Barrie area. So many pizzas to choose from but my favourite so far has been Fun Guy Pie. The crust is the perfect chewy! Fried calamari apps are also very good! Staff is friendly, atmosphere casual and great patio with view of the Simcoe lake front. I always find it weird that the hot water in the bathrooms doesn't work though.
Pizza at Pie is amazing no matter where you go. Prices are high for food and beer but makes up for it in taste and quality and environment. Lots of pizza choices for takeout or eat in. I had takeout and comfortably waited till it was ready at the bar. The bar, and eating area was wide open with tv everywhere and service is very good. Best thin crust pizza I ever had, cant wait to go back again.
Update *** to September 2018... STILL AWESOME. Sophia is great! We love her! Great service, friendly and outgoing. Excellent puzza and salad!Been going to PIE since they opened!! LOVE the pizza, love the Caesar Salad!! I love the Commerce Park location as well. FAST and delicious!!
