Simple here. Brought my Audi sq5 in here. Said there was just a little problem with turbo. He told me not a big deal to come back when he had time next week and he’ll fix it. Then I brought it back in a week. He told me oh no, it doesn’t have the same problem it looks like bottom of engine needs to be rebuilt? I said no!!! You can’t be serious and Alex said oh ya. Common problem, I said I had an extended warranty. Alex said him and owner Edgaras will fix it in a week. Took almost 4 weeks to fix. I had it for 12 days and the pistons he put in literally blew up, because of Alex’s work. Had it 12 days for a $12,000 repair and Alex and Edgaras tried to lie to me and say it wasn’t their fault that the engine hydrolocked. So, I brought it to a real dealer and mechanic shop at Barrie Audi. They said this is 100% the shop that rebuilt engine. The pistons blew up and then smacked into fuel injectors, which then flooded one or cylinders. Says his work is 12,000km’s of 6 months. I put 1200km and 12 days and he won’t fix it and I have to bring him to court where I have the backup of Audi Barrie, plus Global warranty saying this engine failure is 100% Alex, Edgaras and E.P. Auto Repairs fault. They still haven’t fixed nothing or reached out, but ruined our whole vehicle. Their hole should be CLOSED TO PERMANENTLY, AS THEY DONT FIX THINGS, THEY MAKE THEM 100% WORSE! Any reviews that are over a 1 star must be a fake review generator! I’ve never dealt with a worse garage and mechanics in my life and I’ve had 17 vehicles!!!
Strange experience. Brought my 77 Mercedes to them re to have a couple of issues diagnosed and repaired. They diagnosed a ball joint as needing replacement but didn’t tell me which one. They said they would have to search out the part or I could get it. I said that I’d be happy to find it if easier for them as it sounded like too much trouble for them. . Said that they would text me which ball joint needed as well as the other part needed. They did not. After unanswered texts (they asked I text originally) and calls met with ‘I’ll send it to you later today’ I eventually gave up. I have 3 Mercedes (2 classics and 1 new) and a BMW that would have happily had them service and repair but apparently they don’t need the business or just don’t care. I was polite and patient but just wanted it fixed. I ended up taking it elsewhere, parts were ordered next day and fixed. ‘‘Twas a waste of time.
Brought our VW Jetta in. A little intimidating as you see all the other German vehicles (high end). Diagnostic was quick and accurate. The work is impeccable and honest. Great to work with. A true honest Garage. Thanks KM.
I needed a software update on my car and I was in a rush he went above and beyond and helped me get in and started work right away he’s saved me so much stress and has very fair prices for the experience and knowledge he provides if you have any European car it’s the best place to go
2 years in Barrie. We’ve been travelling back and forth to Mississauga or North York just to get stuff done and/or sorted. All 4 Benz have had serviced and work done (major/minor) or inspected. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, we fully trust Edgar and EP Team with all our cars going forward, and I invite you visit and if you need work done with quality and honest work, specially with Euro cars!!
2015 Audi A4. 2.0 After having several quotes and opinions from shops in Barrie and TO including crosstown engines where quote was little high then suddenly decided to add another 2500 to the quote once Icalled to repair it. Gouging! I almost decided to scrap the car but one last search brought me to EP. Went to see the shop and was happy to see a well kept business. Price was very reasonable for engine rebuild. Definitely recommend this shop. They take pride in their work and are usually open 6 days a wk. 5 wks and no issues so far. Go to a mechanic which specializes in german engines.
Highly Recommended! This garage is honest, reliable, and truly goes above and beyond. They don’t try to take advantage of you, and they explain everything clearly. I brought my car in for repairs, and they fixed it quickly and properly. It’s hard to find a place you can trust these days, but I can confidently say this is one of them. I highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for honest service and peace of mind!
