It was a pretty good experience, friendly staff but there was a downside, the view wasn't as expected. All you saw was rocks and construction. They had a pool but it was very small, not as large as expected... although checking in and out was very smooth and happy sailing, so overall, a 4 stars out of 5. The breakfast also was pretty good, I personally like it. The also had grab and go bags witch had an apple, a granola bar and a water bottle. Over all my experience was really good. Also if you had forgot something they had it with was really nice, you could also ask any staff member anytime. Thank you for reading my review I really appreciate it! :)
The location is great, right off the 400, close to a few places to eat. Despite being so close to the highway I couldn't hear it at all in my room. Check in was amazingly fast and everyone was helpful. There is breakfast included in the morning which was decent, but if you don't like it there's a Tim's across the street. The room appeared to be recently renovated and was bright and clean. The TV was large and there was a microwave and fridge in the room. Would definitely stay again.
The staff are so friendly and helpful at this location. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. There was a wedding going on when we stayed but the staff never made us feel less important as a regular guest. Despite having a completely full house (no rooms left) they took time out to make sure every guest was happy. Highly recommend this location! Sad they removed the hot tub though, but for good reasons
The hotel staff were all friendly and efficient! The server in the breakfast room very kindly accommodated our allergy issues and provided us with ingredient lists and cooked items separately for us to ensure there was no contamination from other foods. The cleaning staff was quick to respond with extra towels when we asked and came to ask if we needed anything else for our stay. We definitely will pick the Best Western Plus for our next visit to Barrie!
One of the friendliest and most comfortable hotels we have stayed at. All staff was fantastic. Front desk and kitchen friendly and good senses of humour. Breakfast excellent. Even had Gluten free. Everything experienced there was perfect.
