This hotel is normally around $150 per night but because there was a concert near it doubled in price. I understand supply and demand but that's not cool. The rooms were basic, not the cleanest, bed was hard. Front desk was nice. Won't be staying again.
some staff were very nice and friendly but I did witness one staff give an older lady the DIRTIEST look and rolled her eyes when she simply asked where the pool towels were. So disrespectful. Although the beds were comfy I had ants crawling on me throughout the night on the bottom bunk. I looked the morning after to see where they were coming from and in the left side of the room in the corner were a huge pile of ants some dead some alive. My sheet was hanging right in the pile of them. When we told the front desk as were were checking out they did absolutely nothing. No sorry or anything. No discount. I even showed them the picture of the dead and alive ants piled up. Will probably not stay here again.
Location is amazing, many restaurants and shopping around the hotel! Few bars that are close as well if you wanted to drink and not drive. Service at the hotel was great, nothing bad happened and they were accommodating. Even calling us to make sure we were on our way since we were checking in at a later time in the night. We had a suite, it was large and had all the normal acommodies. My only complaint is that the halls and rooms need an update, looks like maybe an old school or hospital. Also the room needed to be painted and touched up. However that is just my personal opinion, the night was great, with no complaints!
The staff were pleasant and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The complaint I have is our stay was not what we expected, we were awaken by the room next to us yelling and banging off the walls. We packed up and left early because of it. When I told the front desk all they did was apologise, I would have liked something like a discount on our stay. To be truthful I don't think they were going to do anything about it.
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Suites are quite spacious, but are adjacent to what I think is a very loud hydraulic elevator. With air conditioners on the elevator is less noticeable and it's also less frequent after about 11PM, but it's still enough to bother light sleepers. Good breakfast times and both a liquor store and a handful of restaurants are nearby as well.
