BED BUGS and MOLD. Extremely dirty. There wouldn't be any stars if it was possible. BED BUGS!!! I was eaten alive all night and did not sleep at all. I was afraid to open my bag in case bed bugs went inside and I am concerned I will bring them home with me. I asked for some compensation but they refused. I have pictures of my bites and the MOLD all over the bathroom. Mold is extremely dangerous to breathe in. I'm not sure the health department would allow them to be licensed with all of their issues and I will be contacting them as well. They are well aware that we have bed bugs because they have bed bug coverings all over their pillows and all over their mattresses. Please do not go here. Please pay an extra $10 and go to the Quality Inn across the street. I will post the pictures when I can find a link to do so.
Ghastly motel. There are shady characters who live there full time and leave all their garbage outside the rooms. The parking lot has a constant traffic of sketchy individuals coming and going. My neighbors had a violent argument that lasted through the night; lots of door slamming, cussing and talk about not wanting to go back to jail. At 3:00 AM, they left with the TV on good and loud for the rest of the night. The sound proofing is, of course, non existent. The room was joyless and murky with a well aged cigaret smell, clear signs of water damage, and a fist size hole in a wall. On the upside, the bed was clean the toilet flushed and there was hot water..
My girlfriend booked this as a place for us to sleep after she picked me up from a late night flight. We were not impressed by the state of the room. The heater in the one bathroom ( it was split into toilet and sink in one, shower in another) was very dirty and you could see the dust stuck and burnt on. The shower was chipped and small. The bed was nice a little uncomfortable but nice enough to sleep on. The floor was uneven and there were stains all over the curtains. Our neighbors upstairs were quite loud and there was a fight at one point with doors slamming and yelling all through the night. Will not be staying here ever again.
Disgusting is an overstatement. Don't throw your money out. The cleaner was there, she cleaned up the bed, did not change the sheet before we check in. Knight Inn Barrie is the worst place I ever stayed at. Spend another $10 at the Inn down the street, or you will be very upset.
The room was absolutely gross. There were no towels and you couldn't control the heat. The parking lot was flooded and there was alot of people fighting right outside our room. The floor in our room was sticky, no toilet paper, the bathroom sink and tub were dirty. The only nice thing about this motel was the owner. He was very nice
