Our dog had ripped a toenail on her upper front leg... too much excitement chasing a dog through the fence. The staff were very helpful, pleasant, and the wait wasn't bad. Pricing not too bad either. It was an emergency after all! Thanks tobthe team at Barrie Animal Hospital.
Very nice practice to deal with. They made us feel comfortable and heard. My dog was having a very strange and abnormal day, we really wanted to have her seen by someone but it was 8:00pm on a Sunday. Even though we had never been here before they were wonderful to us.
Our dog was in pain...we didn't know why, and the team here got our beloved Chihuahua on the mend, it was a process and the doctors here were top notch, I couldn't say enough kind words, thank you, sincerely the Walters family.
It was very busy on a Saturday, late afternoon. It was obvious that the team was trying to get patients through as quickly but safely as they could. My pitbull cross needed stitches after running into a tree limb while hiking. You never know how people will react when you own this breed and the staff was completely unconcerned and so kind and sweet with Nugget. When I called with the emergency they gave me an appointment time of 5pm. Nugget and I left the clinic at 7:20pm. Which, in my previous experience with emergency hospitals, is unheard of. The staff apologized for the longer wait and yet, I was so grateful for their quick and efficient service! Nugget is doing excellent and the plan they put in place for him is exactly what I would have asked for if I got to choose what was done. There was no upselling, no unnecessary extra costs, etc. I’m extremely happy with the service I received from this clinic and I would confidently recommend them to anyone. And as a previous vet tech, I don’t say that lightly.
We are so grateful for the after hours service we received here. The news was not great for our cat Gideon, but the staff was phenomenal. The doctor took the time to clearly explain the condition he was diagnosed with and the next steps forward. I cannot thank them enough. The staff here truly cares for animals. Also, for after hours service, the bill was beyond fair. Thank you so much for helping us through this difficult time.
Took me immediately for an emergency and did a fabulous job patching up my dog.

We've been taking our dog to Barrie Animal Hospital for 3 years now. Very thorough and friendly. Unlike some vets, they don't expect you to pay for expensive tests for otherwise healthy animals.
Best animal hospital I've ever been to. my family moves a lot for work and this place is top notch. compassion and professionalism at its finest. They saw us through a really tough time. you will not find better doctors and staff in the GTA. (or prices! trust me I've shopped around)
I have been the client of Dr. Stephen Choles(DVM) at this clinic for 2 years and forced to leave it for the following reasons.First, I faced an unappropriated customer care in his clinic. He did the surgery for my cat three times!!! Actually, he redid it because initially he has done it with mistakes. However, he refused to recognize his mistakes and charged me every time again.Second, while UTI symptoms of my cat, he hasnt done any testing, just charged for exam and prescribed some medications. These medications didnt affect somewhat. In 10 days after visit of this doctor, we were forced to go to another clinic for the same problems and were charged again for the treatment.I will never go back to this clinic.
