For the most part the staff are wonderful. Waited a half hour for the vet. The visit took an awful turn when i encountered a horribly, highly combative elderly receptionist when I questioned why I was kept waiting so long. Vet was very kind and apologetic.
The Dr was amazing!!! Checking in on our pug via text and I was heard on my concerns. Our pug was reassessed and more meds given without a crazy price tag for a revisit! Thank you! You are our new vet for all of our animals!
We have been going to Holly Animal Hospital for about a year. We have a senior pug and 2 kitties. We have received the BEST, most thorough care. The vets are amazing, the technicians are incredible and the administrative staff are wonderful. We highly recommend Holly Animal Hospital and we are forever grateful for how well they take care of our fur family ♡
Worst Animal Hospital in Barrie Ontario, went there today Nurse could not speak English at all Nurse decided dog should not live anymore was 15 years old
Although the outcome wasn't what anyone of us were hoping for, the staff at Holly got my kitty Moose in quickly and he was given the best care one could hope for under the circumstances. Thoughtful, respectful & compassionate. Thank you to Dr. Singh and all the staff who looked after Moose that day.
Just moved to Barrie and unfortunately with that- I am looking for a new vet for my 3 shepherds. I am making a appointment tomorrow, based exclusively on the owners response to poor reviews. Looking very much forward to meeting this Dr. I think he will be a great fit for us. Will update.
I brought my dog in with a uti. The staff and doctors were awesome..very caring..very through...explained everything and was up front with all costs. I would highly recommend them. Have brought all of my pets in here, from regular visits to emergencies. Techs are knowledgable and staff is usually friendly. It always seems like the Vet doesn't know what is going on with my pets - quick to recommend expensive and unneeded fixes. (foods, procedures, injections, medications). Do not have facilities for 24/7 care, which has also been quite inconvenient. Because of this, I have been sent to emerge and have had to pay 160 dollars just to be seen!
Bad experience!! Be warned, everything has cost so much more than advertised online. Spaying my cat came to a total of $514 when the online cost said $194. They told me it wasnt going to be almost $400 when I got there in the morning. My cat survived the surgery so far but I am extremely disappointed in the dishonesty and will not be bringing my animals back.Update: I did NOT agree to purchasing the ecollar after checking my paperwork and it was a small dog size collar anyways, the wrong size for my cat. She could not even use it and it would not stay on.
After reviewing vets and comparing prices I thought I would try Holly Vetrinary Clinic for my Boxer. She was feeling very tired having accidents in the house and I truly believed her time was coming. After making the apt with the Vet he had recommended some tests as it could be something simple. I was very hesitant since I had a horrible experience before and spent thousands and ended up having to put my Boxer down at 11 months. We decided to go ahead with the tests and within 1 day I had the results and they were everything I could ask for. The vet explained everything and gave recommendations and was very caring. My girl already seems to have more energy and is returning to her normal self. The price was very decent for a vet and the service was great!!
