Very disappointed with my interaction today with the front desk. My appointment was scheduled for months in advance for a regular checkup and vaccines for my dog. I arrived and was met with a disgruntled staff member saying there’s no doctor in today. She was unapologetic of the situation. When asked if there is flexibility with the schedule considering this appointment was booked months in advance, her reply to almost every question was, we are booked. The vaccines are mandatory for the daycare my dog attends which are approaching expiry and there was no understanding from the staff member. No solution was offered. I later checked my email and found less than 24 hrs notice of my change of appointment to a month later without a phone call or consultation if that day would work for me. It’s disappointing that clinics and services nowadays want customers to respect their time by implementing policies with no-so, rescheduling, or late fees, but when it comes to their customers they are not solution-oriented, understanding, apologetic, or respectful of our schedules just as much. For potential clients at this vet, the expectation here is to call yourself and confirm the appointment months at a time, I guess.
Very happy with Stella's first vet visit. I was worried she would be more paranoid but the vet staff had a very gentle and welcoming attitude which helped her stay calm. Very quick in and out visit, there was virtually no wait, and it was cheap compared to my expectations. Stella got a free toy from them as well. 10/10
Brought my dog here because she was very lethargic and had a vaginal discharge the night before. I notified them that i thought she could be pregnant as she was bread accidentally. They felt her abdomen and listened to her heart and immediately diagnosed her with pyometra and quoted me 4800-6000 to do the surgery and were prepared to do it that day.... i explained she was 8 and it wouldn't be worth that kinda money to get her a couple years and so they offered to euthanize her for under 1000, etc. I was a bit apprehensive and so i left and payed their bill of nearly $400 and contacted my horses vet and he referred me to a clinic in newmarket that quoted me $1500 over the phone to do the pyo surgery and booked her for the next day. When i arrived at the clinic in newmarket they immediately did swabs and looked under a microscope, they followed it up with an ultrasound and determined that there were no signs of infection whatsoever and that she did not have pyometra and likely had passed discharge from loosing a pregnancy. They gave me an antibiotic and i left relieved with only a bill of $150. Needless to say this is the type of mistake or misdiagnonis that will surely make a client never return and to think that she might have had a $5000 unnecessary surgery or had been put down had i not left is quite reprehensible. Today she is happy and healthy and running around with her boy wagging her tail. Proceed with extreme caution here
Super patient and great with dogs. My guy is super nervous at the vet and they were great at making sure he still received good medical care with kindness!

When we had to make a very difficult decision regarding our dog they were professional and respectful towards my wife,my kids and myself. They were realistic and didn't press for methods that were unrealistic that would make them money. We have since gotten a new pupoyband have signed on for their puppy plan. They are great.
So far so good! I like that they offer flea treatments for a very reasonable cost. Friendly and genuine staff.Edit - hands down an amazing veterinary clinic. I will be a customer as long as I live in the Barrie area.
Friendly and efficient staff, simple online appointment scheduling, very helpful, intuitive vet, Dr. Lawrence who followed up on our pups treatment by phone. We have a year old Westie suffering from seasonal allergies, chewing her feet raw. We had some immediate onsite testing and a prescription which has improved her condition tremendously. Really pleased with my visit here.
